Foreign Minister holds phone call with Maltese counterpart
The telephone conversation was an opportunity to review the cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and look at ways to boost and diversify them in various fields both at bilateral and multilateral levels,
The meeting also discussed the efforts made by the two countries to stem the spread of coronavirus and limit the economic and social impact of the pandemic.
Noureddine Erray and his Maltese counterpart also discussed regional and international issues of common interest as well as ways to strengthen dialogue on these issues, the statement added.
On the situation in Libya, the two parties affirmed their commitment to international legality.
They stressed "the importance of continuing to support constructive efforts for a political, peaceful and lasting settlement of the crisis in order to restore stability in this brotherly country,"
