Foreign Affairs Minister receives the delegation of the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights

Foreign Minister Khemaïs Jhinaoui presided over a welcoming ceremony in honor of a delegation of the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the ministry's headquarters.

 He also emphasized the modernist approach to human rights in Tunisia, established by the 2014 Constitution and its legal, and the adoption of the principles of human rights and the rule of law and of the State of the institutions, expressing the hope that the visit of the delegation of the African Court to our country would be an opportunity to identify the achievements of Tunisia in this area.

Tunisia hosts for the first time from 12 November to 07 December 2018, under the aegis President of the Republic, the works of the 51st Ordinary Session of the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights.
 
For his part, the President of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, Sylvain Oré, expressed his sincere thanks for the support of our country at this session, highlighting the facilities made available to them by Tunisia, to ensure the success of the Court's work.
