Joint declaration establishing diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Nicaragua
This declaration is part of finishing off and reinforcing the diplomatic relations network between Tunisia and all countries around the world, particularly those of Latin America.
The inking of this joint declaration formalises the relations between the two countries in compliance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 and the United Nations Charter.
This declaration testifies to the two countries' willingness to foster friendship and co-operation relations and their joint keenness to establish bilateral relations based on the principles and objectives of the UN Charter and International Law. They are principles of peaceful coexistence, equality and mutual respect for the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
The declaration was inked by Tunisian Ambassador Deputy Permanent Representative of Tunisia to the United Nations Sami Bougacha and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Deputy Permanent Representative of Nicaragua to the United Nations Jaime Hermida Castillo.
