6th session of Tunisian-British Forum for Political, Economic and Cultural Dialogue

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bachtobji paid a working visit to the United Kingdom on Thursday where he co-chaired with his British counterpart Andrew Murrison the 6th session of the Tunisian-British Political, Economic and Cultural Dialogue Forum.

According to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials reaffirmed their shared commitment to further develop the friendly and cooperation relations between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade, education, higher education, tourism, environment and security.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest. It also addressed the need to continue coordination and consultation in the light of Tunisia's election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2020-2021.
