Jhinaoui meets with Kenyan officials in Nairob
On this occasion, Jhinaoui highlighted Tunisia’s readiness to exchange experiences with Kenya, notably in the tourism training, human resource management and capacity building fields.
For his part, Balala pointed out his country’s willingness to draw from the Tunisian experience in the tourism sector.
Besides, Jhinaoui further met with President of Kenya’s National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Richard Ngatia. The talk focused on the promotion of investment, export and development of trade in both directions.
Jhinaoui conducted a two-day visit to Kenya (October 7-8) at the invitation of his Kenyan opposite number Monica Juma.
This visit, the first of its kind since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between both countries in 1963, is part of Tunisia’s willingness to expand the platform of its economic partners, a Foreign Ministry press release reads.
The visit will also foster the friendship and co-operation relations binding Tunisia and eastern African countries and the regional economic communities, notably the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
