Minister of Foreign Affairs holds telephone conversation with his Estonian counterpart

Ways to boost the cooperation relations between Tunisia and Estonia were discussed at a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs Noureddine Erray and his Estonian counterpart Urmas Reinsalu on Monday.

The two ministers stressed the importance of strengthening consultation on regional and international issues of common interest, since Tunisia and Estonia are non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.

According to a statement from the Department, the two sides discussed the efforts of both countries to contain the coronavirus and its economic and health consequences.

In this context, Erray welcomed Estonia's support for the draft resolution proposed by Tunisia to the UN Council.

It is an initiative of the President of the Republic aimed at activating international solidarity to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

For his part, the Estonian FM expressed his country's aspiration to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields,
