Tunisia-Cameroon: Common will to boost cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Noureddine Erray on Monday in Tunis received Cameroonian ambassador in Tunis, Victor Loé.

On this occasion, the minister underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, recommending that the next common deadlines be well prepared, notably the 11th session of the Tunisian-Cameroonian joint commission.

He also expressed Tunisia's interest in the development of its relations with African countries, stressing the need to strengthen the role of the sector to boost cooperation.

For his part, the Cameroonian diplomat hailed the friendly ties between the two countries, affirming his country's willingness to continue working with the Tunisian authorities to develop cooperation in several areas.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks also focused on regional and international issues of common interest, especially the health and economic situation in African countries after the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
