Japanese FM expected next week in Tunis, 1st stop on his African journey

The Japanese official's visit to Tunisia is aimed to boost bilateral cooperation and diversify its fields,
The visit will focus on the review of upcoming events, including the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad to Japan and the next meeting of the Tunisian-Japanese Joint Commission.
It will also be devoted to reinforcing dialogue on international issues of mutual interest, including the Libyan crisis.
The Japanese diplomat will hold a series of talks with Tunisian officials, focusing notably on Tunisia's preparations for the 8th Summit of the Tokyo International Conference for African Development "TICAD 8," to be hosted by Tunisia in 2022.
