In a telephone call with his Yemeni counterpart, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hadhrami, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, Jerandi expressed Tunisia's concern about the development of the situation in Yemen.

,Jarandi reiterated Tunisia's support for the efforts of the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen to achieve a ceasefire, continue the political operation and put an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The two parties also discussed bilateral relations.
