M.Jerandi reaffirmed the government's firm commitment to continue its efforts to implement structural reforms. The objective, he said, is to create a sustainable and comprehensive economic model that provides a good response to many social, economic and security challenges.

"The COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis it has generated have shed light on the common challenges between the countries of the two shores of the Mediterranean, hence cooperation is the only way to overcome these difficulties," he said.

He insisted on the need to give priority to the human and humanitarian dimensions when setting up Tunisia-EU cooperation projects, calling for the development of a common approach in the field of migration.
