Japanese FM to visit Tunisia in early December

Japan’s Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi is expected in Tunis in early December.

The visit was the focus of a meeting Tuesday between Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad M.Othman Jerandi and Japan’s Ambassador in Tunis M.Shinsuke Shimizu.

The meeting also discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to develop it and reviewed international issues of common interest, including the Libyan crisis,

During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the preparations undertaken by Tunisia for the 8th Summit of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development "TICAD 8” that will be hosted by Tunisia in 2022.
