Inauguration of the "Ibn Khaldoun" corner at the National Book Foundation

On the initiative of the Tunisian Embassy in Islamabad, Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, Advisor to the Pakistani Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage, has inaugurated, on the 18th of January 2018

, the “Ibn Khaldoun Corner” at the National Book Foundation in the presence of several Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to Pakistan, students and journalists.

On this occasion, the Pakistani Minister saluted the initiative and the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in collaboration with the National Book Foundation and the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies of Pakistan. He said that this initiative will help to strengthen relations between Pakistan and Tunisia. He announced that a collection of Ibn Khaldun's books will be translated and distributed to Pakistani students and scholars and to highlight the importance of his writings and the adequacy of his approaches and his ideas with our era.
